WE-BREW 2026 is an international multidisciplinary research conference of MPSU designed to serve as a global platform for academic exchange, knowledge sharing, and collaborative innovation. It brings together scholars, researchers, professionals, policymakers, industry leaders, development practitioners, and community stakeholders to engage in meaningful dialogue and cooperation toward addressing contemporary development challenges.

The conference promotes interdisciplinary and multisectoral engagement by integrating diverse fields in education, agriculture, health sciences, engineering and technology, environmental science, governance and public policy, business and management, information technology, social sciences, arts and humanities, and indigenous studies. This interdisciplinary approach reflects MPSU's research thrust of modern research-based solutions through responsive, innovative technologies and active knowledge generation. It likewise supports the University’s Research Agenda, which advances research in agriculture and forestry; governance and social equity; indigenous knowledge systems and culture; resilience and climate action; health and well-being; digital pathways and sustainable infrastructure; tourism and environmental sustainability; and transformative education.

WE-BREW 2026 provides a dynamic and inclusive venue for the dissemination of scholarly outputs through oral research presentations, poster presentations, policy briefs, pitch presentations, panel discussions, workshops, innovation showcases, and networking sessions. These activities are intentionally designed to strengthen research utilization, promote evidence-based decision-making, and encourage collaboration among local, national, and international partners.

Through these engagements, the conference enhances MPSU’s role as a knowledge-producing institution that responds to local community needs while contributing to global academic discourse. It also strengthens institutional linkages, promotes research productivity, and increases MPSU’s visibility in the international academic community.

Ultimately, WE-BREW 2026 operationalizes the University’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and service by fostering a culture of collaboration, interdisciplinary learning, and wisdom-driven research. It contributes to the development of sustainable, resilient, and inclusive communities by translating research outputs into practical solutions, policies, and innovations that address real-world challenges.
